Abou Industry Radio
Who We Are
Industry Radio is an independent, not-for-profit online radio station rooted in Telford, Shropshire — serving the Shropshire, and wider UK community. Born from a passion for underground and dance music culture, we’ve grown from early roots to become a dedicated platform for DJs, producers, and voices who might otherwise go unheard.
Tagline: Bringing the fire from the Shire
Our Mission
We exist to:
- Deliver underground dance & electronic music from across the globe
- Champion independent artists, DJs, and producers — especially local talent from Telford, Shropshire, and the borderlands
- Give a voice to those who struggle to get airtime on mainstream stations
- Keep the spirit of authentic dance, 90s, and underground sounds alive — without corporate playlists or commercial bias
- Connect our local area with a worldwide community of music lovers
What We Play
Our sound is built on the underground — a broad, bold mix including:
- House, Techno, Deep & Soulful House
- Drum & Bass, Jungle, Breakbeat
- Garage, Grime, Hip Hop, R&B
- 90s dance classics and forgotten gems
- Fresh UK sounds and international underground tracks
- Hardcore
- and all things UNDERGROUND
We don’t just play what’s charting — we play what moves people.

Our Story
Industry Radio began as a grassroots project, evolving from earlier broadcast roots into today’s fully online, independent station. We’ve stayed true to our founding spirit: not-for-profit, community-focused, and run by music lovers, for music lovers. Every show, every mix, and every hour is put together by people who care deeply about the music — not ratings or revenue.
We’re proud to be Telford’s home for independent radio — and proud to share that sound with the world.
